Discover life in lakes with a talk by Sylvain Miller, biologist and keen diver, on Thursday, June 08, 2023 at 7 p.m.!
On the program: a dynamic presentation with exclusive images captured by Sylvain Miller and an ode to the life of our Quebec lakes.
The lecture will transport you as we descend underwater to discover organisms from the surface to the bottom of our lakes. The presentation complements the Eau bout de la chaîne temporary exhibition on freshwater biodiversity.
The content will highlight what lives on riverbanks, the importance of riparian buffer strips, and the way of life of the organisms we encounter when we go underwater, and their importance in preserving our waterways.
The conference will also focus on the impact of human activity on aquatic life, and will be broadcast live from our YouTube channel! Subscribe now to keep up to date with our video news!
