EARTH DAY
An activity to understand the connection between invasive plants and water quality on the shores…
In the laboratory, water tests will be conducted to then correlate them with invasive plants and native plants that restore balance on the shores.
The whole family will learn while playing apprentice biologists and will leave with a seed of native plants to bloom in the garden (courtesy of akène).
Activity offered free of charge with museum visit and at a cost of $5 per participant excluding visit (payable at reception).

Enjoy this free activity on Sunday, May 12th, on Mother’s Day. A fun activity to spend time with dad while mom takes a moment for herself, or with mom if she prefers.
As part of the “Festival des Petits Bonheurs,” organized by Maison des arts de Laval, C.I.EAU offers an exclusive free museum visit for families with children aged 3 to 6. Come between 10 am and 12 pm to enjoy the museum during these hours. Online registrations start on April 6th!

Guess the weight of water! Explore in a captivating experience the water consumption hidden behind everyday objects. The “Eau poids, Eau plume” animation, lasting one hour, is aimed at a family audience (minimum age 8) and reveals the amount of water needed to produce common items such as clothing and digital devices. Through a comparison game, you will perceive the impact of our water consumption on the precious water reserves of the planet. The activity will awaken you to the importance of reducing water footprint for a sustainable water future.
