The Centre d’interprétation de l’eau (C.I.EAU) now offers a complete solution to help municipalities educate their citizens about water. Our participation as an exhibitor at the Salon des affaires municipales of the Fédération québécoise des municipalités congress, held on Thursday and Friday, September 28 and 29 in Quebec City, was an opportunity to preview this offering. The C.I.EAU booth featured a virtual reality tour of the station, and encouraged discussion with the municipal representatives and multi-sector experts in attendance.

As part of the workshop La sensibilisation au service de la ressource en eau presented at Americana, C.I.EAU noted the interest of municipalities in raising awareness about water. In response, our team assembled and developed tools specifically tailored to the needs of municipalities across the province.

Communicate about water consumption with Fantastik’eau!

Among the resources available, the C.I.EAU has recently enhanced its Fantastik’eau! educational kit with free activities related to water consumption. Designed for home, leisure and school audiences, the turnkey kit is available to municipalities to help them implement the Quebec Strategy for Drinking Water Conservation.

Conferences or panels tailored to the realities of each sector

Whether you’re a municipality with a large water system, or a smaller one that relies on artesian wells or septic tanks, C.I.EAU has developed a made-to-measure conference project. These water management presentations are designed to provide answers tailored to the realities of each municipality. Panels led by specialists are also available.

Popularizing the invisible: C.I.EAU’s growing expertise

With over 20 years’ expertise in popularizing science in the water sector, C.I.EAU offers station scenarization services to create entertaining itineraries within city facilities.

Water management concerns all municipalities, even the smallest in terms of demography. Our team is proud to present a new feature: micro-scenarization, an infrastructure enhancement project that serves as an educational and entertaining tool managed by the city. This type of public installation promotes a better understanding of the water cycle and the water systems used.

Don’t hesitate to contact us to explore all the possibilities offered by C.I.EAU. Our water museum, located in Laval’s Vieux Sainte-Rose, is dedicated to promoting the protection and responsible use of water resources. In addition to our permanent and temporary exhibitions, we also offer educational programs for schools.
